A modified set of problems for whiteboarding, developed by Matt Greenwolfe and Marc Rief has been mentioned in several places, notably Kelly O’Shea’s 7/23/12 Blog post. Kelly O’Shea includes several pages of them in her 7/23 blog.
Greenwolfe and Rief’s paper titled “Practice the Model Problems” is listed on the ASU Modeling Website, under Resources for the Modeling Classroom. However, the link now leads to an AMTA page that says “NOT FOUND: Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.” Searching on that title led to a forum post with today’s date that includes four of the problems (as pdfs that I can’t print or save in Safari – have to try another browser) and a great blog about Next Generation Science Standards. It includes an intro to Modeling for students and parents, and a great video of Frank Noschese addressing an auditorium about how Modeling works.
Back to the problems: Where can the whole set be found?
Bob Warzeski
(E Robert Warzeski – that’s where the Edward comes from. Even AMTA insists that I’m Edward. Computers do not like first initial, middle name)
The link to Next Generation Science Standard’s on your page (http://modelinginstruction.org/teachers/next-generation-science-standards-draft-2/) doesn’t seem to go anywhere.
You may want to updated that link to http://www.nextgenscience.org/next-generation-science-standards/

Where can I get a copy the MBT? Thanks
Both the FCI (English only) and the MBT can be found at the bottom of the following page: http://modelinginstruction.org/teachers/resources/physics-mechanics-2/
The link to the dissertation entitled “Modeling Discourse Management – Dwain Desbien” doesn’t seem to go anywhere. What’s the problem?
