Salisbury School is looking to hire a teacher of Chemistry and AP Chemistry, and we would be interested in hiring a modeling instructor.

Salisbury School is an all-boys independent school in the northwest corner of Connnecticut.  We are roughly 90% boarding, and the majority of the faculty live on campus, many of them in apartments attached to dormitories.  All full-time faculty are expected to participate in the “triple threat” nature of independent school life:  classroom, athletics, and residential life.

Physics has been taught using modeling for a couple of years at Salisbury, and we are strongly considering moving to a Physics First sequence, implementing as much modeling instruction as possible in physics, chemistry, and biology.

Please contact Toby Ayer (physics teacher, Science Department Chair), tayer_at_salisburyschool.org.
