A grant proposal by AMTA and the University of Louisville (UofL) was recently funded by a NASA Kentucky Space Grant, award no: NNX15AR69H. This grant funding allows AMTA to offer the inaugural Astronomy Modeling Workshop at UofL, offering a $500 stipend (paid post-workshop) to defray workshop costs for the first 16 registered participants outside commuting distance from Louisville, KY.
This is the first time AMTA has partnered with UofL and it’s our first grant funded by NASA.
