Why Two Approaches?
The development of materials for a modeling biology course resulted in two approaches: one for students in grades 9-10 taking a biology-first course and another for students in grades 11-12 taking a biology-last course. The latter builds on the chemistry content knowledge students would have acquired in an earlier course.
